I just got this for $5 on Steam, and I wish I could donate more to the company if I could. You will not get a better form of Art in most modern AAA titles.

It's more like you're playing a book, but it feels like a movie you're directing. There is also some of the deepest story I have ever encountered, and I only really like to play games with a ton of story. Monsters, on a technical scale are only ehh, but when you combine it with the rest of the game, become horrifying poetry. The sound is amazing, which is critical to terror. In which case, you're only ruining the fun for yourself. The only way you can't get scared by it is by thinking you're way too cool and you keep your guard up. Amnesia: The Dark Descent just got updated with a Hard Mode option for brave horror fans who hate sleep. "Scary" movies haven't scared you since you were a child. Its supposed to replace all the notes and dialogue with google translated versions and voice acting with a TTS program which honestly sounds like a really good time. Its called: Amnesia: The Dark Descent but Its Google Translate.

Though strangely it looks like the option to play the Justine content is missing? so if i get it correctly.Have you ever played Myst? And kno Bioshock was the best game of all time? Either way it wasn't an update by Frictional to the game to bring it up to date with the Steam version.

Either a Windows 10 update or an update to how SDL worked on Windows 10 i'm not exactly sure. A while ago i tried it again because i read that there was an update that might have fixed this. The GOG version would have the mouse cursor flick around randomly without you doing anything but that extra file on Steam seemed to fix it. It was missing a file that was called SDL2 if i recall correctly. Point_Man: It wasn't up to date with the Steam version prior to this. Though strangely it looks like the option to play the Justine content is missing? No random flicks causing the camera to shoot all over the place. I also loaded up the GOG version quickly and the mouse was working fine. So i assume the GOG version now matches the Steam version but i haven't downloaded the Steam version and compared the files side by side again. I just installed Amnesia again after this latest update and it seems like that SDL2 file that Steam had has now been added to the GOG version. It seemed to have worked fine then, no thanks to Frictional. The horror does not only come from the outside, but from the inside as well. Exploring the eerie pathways, you must also take part of Daniel's troubled memories. A while ago i tried it again because i read that there was an update that might have fixed this. Amnesia: The Dark Descent puts you in the shoes of Daniel as he wakes up in a desolate castle, barely remembering anything about his past. Mafwek: Allegedly, Amnesia was unplayable on Windows 10 after a certain upgrade, was this fixed? It wasn't up to date with the Steam version prior to this.
